The Star Science Column appears every Thursday in thePhilippine Star, and serves as one of PAASE's main avenues for enhancing public understanding of science in the Philippines. Articles in this column are brief essays of about 800 words in length (although longer pieces can be published over the course of consecutive weeks) commenting on contemporary scientific and technological issues, or outlining the contributor's research in popularized form. Manuscripts should be submitted as Word files accompanied by a brief biographical note (about 100 words with contact details) and a photo of the author.
